Since I'm comfy on my couch, today will mark the 1st season I did not attend a Bears game in person in over 30 years.

Last year doesn't count. Nobody went.
We've had season tickets in the family since the early '60's. In the Spring we made the decision not to renew for a number of reasons including the time it takes to get there and back, Matt Nagy, inability to sell on the secondary market, Ryan Pace, cost, the McCasky family, inability to convince friends and family to go, and more.
It was a hard choice but I'm ok with it. I've seen some unbelievable games there and memories of enjoying those with other fans are priceless.
This week I was considering buying a cheap ticket and going but ultimately the two hour commute and Andy Dalton sealed my decision.
Always a fan and I'll probably get there next year when they have an offense but until then I'll yell "go Bears" and "Packers suck" from my family room.
