If you keep 1 player, is it your FIRST ROUND pick, or is it highest pick?

If you keep 2 players, does it have to be your 1st and 2nd round picks, or is it your highest 2 picks?

Keepers are your highest picks. Otherwise, trades have no foundation. “I’ll take your first pick”. You keep 10 guys. I get an 11? - Will Hunting Jan 3, 13:08
