No, he has 3-8 at the time of the trade. He gives that up. He then gives up his first 5 picks for keepers.

NOTHING changes except his last keeper slides 1 round farther down because I now have the 32nd pick of the draft to either use on a keeper for me (my 4th keeper since I'd have 1-2, 2-2, 3-2...) or to draft whoever is available at the time.
