You're right, because he traded that pick for a player and another pick before hand.

So on draft day, he gives up 1-8, 2-8, 4-8, 5-8, 6-8 and 7-8 in addition to now having all 15-2 up to 15-8.


How do you think NFL trades in the future work? They trade future picks for players now. We'd actually be evening out the draft picks by forcing a 1:1 qty on each side.
