Why do you keep thinking this trade is happening after the Keepers happen? They get locked like 24 hours before the draft. I'm making this deal 8 -- (edited)

He has 1-8, 2-8, .... 15-8.
He gives me 3-8 now. He then keeps 6 players, using 1-8, 2-8, 4-8...7-8, drafting from the available pool with 8-8.
No picks were *lost*. He gains 15-2 from me. I get 3-8 from him. He used his first 6 picks to keep his 6 players.
When he picks with 8-8, he will have 6 players on his roster, having deemed Kelce worth trading 3-8 for 15-2 and Kelce.
