I will throw this out there as a maybe - there is a small possibility that because he had COVID, his doctor advised him against the vaccine.

My sister had COVID at the very beginning and while she DID get the first two shots, her doctor advised her against getting the third. She had an extreme reaction to the second vaccine and basically they'll only let her have it if they perceive it as absolutely necessary.

Does Novak deserve that kind of benefit of doubt? Probably not.
