If reduced growth is an effect of poor economic conditions like the Great Depression, I wonder if the slide since the 50s correlates to wealth gap

or declining household income/share adjusted for inflation.

The trend should probably get even worse over the next 10 years as a reversal of that WWII baby boom spike. Say 1946 + life span of 85 = 2031. ... depending on how many elderly survived COVID.
