that's more radio play list decisions, these days 'country' is rock with twang, RnB/soul is moving into country now,

we have a local gal who is RnB soul and has a great show on my local jazz station for jazz funk

her album is funky soul but I'll bet most of the songs would sound just as great if they were covered with a mandolin and banjo
