I figured that would happen but this seems deeper than Vince just cleaning out deadwood. He’s erasing his son in law. -- nm

If this is some personal thing....isn't this a publicly traded company? -- nm

It is and they keep reporting massive profits so palace intrigue over a successor isn’t an issue.

Ahh, listening to you all talk, it sounded like things weren't going well vs AEW, I guess I misread. -- nm

AEW didn't exist at this time in 2018. Its demo last night was 0.43. Raw's was 0.45. Raw has been on since 1997.

Oh, creatively and PR … WWE is getting destroyed. But they got so much money from tv, they literally can’t help but be profitable for now

I cannot believe I'm saying this, but there's a non-zero chance HHH gets fired, too. -- nm

No. that won't happen for a few reasons. But he will be shufled off to the side. He's family...but his NXT lost to AEW so he's done -- nm

Non-zero chance doesn't mean it's happening, just that's a possibility.

Khan won the power struggle to replace Vince. It’s his hand (or Vince hates his son-in-law.)

Vince is still majority shareholder. Yeah clearly something is going on. Maybe HHH heart attack was more serious than we though -- nm

I know he is. But Khan is the heir apparent.

Since I found out Khan is Rock's childhood friend, I've become convinced there's a succession plan in place.

Which fine but it’s a weird idea to be the 800lb gorilla in the space and basically infuriate your audience to save nickels in overall savings.

I think the only thing stopping it is he doesn't want HHH to show up on AEW.

I believe his recent medical issue means HHH will never wrestle again, but just a one-off showing up on Dynamite would be hilarious. -- nm

I was thinking…the only two notable AEW concerns are Punk (valid) and Cody who most people want to go away.

Actually, Cody is wildly popular behind the scenes. It's his character many fans dislike. -- nm
