"The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming!" (1966) -- A (I am biased, per full story inside)

I don't know if it was his favorite movie, but my dad frequently quoted a line from the 1966 cold war comedy "The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming!" A Soviet submarine runs aground on the shore of a small island off the American east coast. Nine Russian sailors come ashore looking for a boat to dislodge the sub.

Among other shenanigans, a few sailors don American clothes from the cleaners, and try to sneak to the harbor, repeating this English phrase, practiced by rote memorization: "Emergency — everybody to get from street!"

My dad found that scene and phrase very funny, and somehow it came up repeatedly. As I watched the film for the first time tonight, I felt him watching with me. In addition to the full context of this classic scene, I could see so many reasons my dad would love this film.

You may not share the motivation to watch this film I had, but it is quite entertaining throughout, and holds up remarkably well for a film of that era.
