No... and I'm not really invested, but I disagree with the decision.

Malinin got second by a wide margin. It wasn't like places 2-3-4 were close and he squeaked into the middle. He's not just a quad-bot either. He can skate.

It seems like giving the 17-year-old the experience and showcasing the future of US Figure Skating would also be good from a marketing angle too.

Instead they send Brown who will do a lovely routine and finish 7th and Zhou who has more upside than Brown but is also more likely to come completely apart so he'll finish either 4th or 12th.
