New cases in Harris County are getting to be about where they were at the initial start of the latest surge. Just before it became supercharged.

So, it is perhaps viable that our surge will indeed be done by the end of January.

CA officials say late Jan/early Feb is when the death numbers will rise to catch up with the surge. Brace yourselves. Delayed indicators are coming. -- nm

Hospitalizations have recovered pretty well too in the last week. So, that might help keep those numbers down. Hispanics are now doing quite well...
