It can be both. I mostly take "recorded" classes, but I recognize some folks on the leaderboard.

I bought mine well before the pandemic and liked it, but as I moved to work from home it's become a daily part of my routine (maybe 2x/week before). -- nm

I'm on it daily. It helps immensely with "I want a quick workout" since I justify it by having it be intense. Don't always have times for long runs. -- nm
