amanda's IM makes a lot of sense, but also there are enough people invested in Batman for it to be successful without disproving her point.

Do I want to go see a three hour movie that which I'm sort of interested in and would be better to see on a big screen than at home, but it's not really a must-see? No - sorry, Dune.
Am I stepping out during a pandemic to see a three-hour movie where I'm really into the franchise? Yep definitely - and the only movie I saw in theatres since Covid broke is No Time To Die.
I think there are plenty of people who are like me, but for Batman (and not so many people who are like me, but for West Side Story)
