it would work out if the IRS accepted btc, otherwise we have an issue not unlike england demanding their own coin but refused to release any

that was a big issue for the colonists before the revolution. they didn't care about representation, they just weren't allowed to pay the taxes with currency available, only english sovereigns but they were hording them and it cost twice as much to acquire them.
its why our money became the Dollar, we used spanish thallers because we couldn't get pounds
