My dad was a real mess after his liver transplant. He couldn't get past eating food on his right hand side.

My mom was a real mess after her stroke, she was convinced I was dying and couldn't find most words. I had to block her exit on the last night of her hospitalization. She's 90% better now. She can find almost every word eventually, just a little slower.
