Responses:
placing new cities is the worst part so far. Civ 4 I knew every time where I wanted to go, this is harder. Also, not really a fan of the multiple

It’s a challenge for sure, especially planning out wonders with adjacency requirements. Also remembering to clear land with a worker before beginning -- (edited)
