When I was in college I worked at a County run golf course and park

The park had lots of picnic areas and we would have to empty the trash each morning when I worked that side (when I worked the golf side I would move the holes each morning on the greens).
Anyway, we would always tip the cans over first before trying to empty them because the 'coons liked to sneak in and get a snack during the night. I never had a 'coon attack me but did have a chipmunk run out of a can, up my arm and jump off my shoulder. That'll wake you up at 6AM...
