My Aunt (my mom's sister who lived around the corner from her) decided ~2 weeks ago to sell her house.

We've know for some time that she's interested in moving to the Tampa area. Most of her grandkids, all of her great grandkids are there. Here oldest daughter is planning to move there. My Uncle had never been keen on moving, but he's ill with a degenerative disease and on oxygen so he understands why she want to go (since he won't be around long-term, sadly).

What drove her deciding to go now? The house across the street, same model as her, sold for far more than she ever thought she could get for her house.

So she decided to do it. For sale sign in the yard, pictures on-line in MLS a couple of days ago, open house both days this upcoming weekend.

Open house just got canceled. House sold.
