That said, Spirit/Frontier/Allegiant have a very limited presence in NYC.

None of them are at JFK
Frontier and Spirit have a small number of slots at LGA (divested slots from the AA/US merger)
Newark isn't slot controlled currently, so that's where you'll mostly these carriers operating but they aren't running huge hubs or anything.
