a friend of mine passed away recently with no will, no beneficiaries on anything. he was estranged from his parents so there was nobody to make any

decisions and we -- his friends -- were unable to legally get access to his home to rescue anything.
it's been literally awful, so all of us in the last few weeks have updated all of our shit and left instructions for people.
