I'm rather tempted to try a DIY repair.
|
But I know what will happen: I'll spend half a day just on trying to figure out what's wrong. Then another half day running around town looking for the right part. And an hour or two repairing it.
Then I'll have violated the warranty for future repairs, and next month, something major (but still under warranty) will fail. And I'll have spent 10 hours working on something that I could've paid an expert to do in an hour, which means I wasted so much time I could've been billing clients, or engaged in marketing/business development efforts.
