Last weekend was the best I've had in a few years. -- (edited)

Thursday night (Not technically the weekend):
We saw Hasan Minhaj at the Hippodrome. He's as funny as always, but the routine was about the literal dangers of calling out world leaders for likes and adulation. He's lead a really interesting life, and his honesty about his faults was really welcome. A+ experience except for the hour wait in the rain to check for vaccine cards (which I'm fine with). Problem is they didn't delay the show so people could see it. We got in just as the opening comedian ended. Others were not so lucky.
Friday:
Drove to Boston (our flight got cancelled) and saw Smartless live with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. We got to see them extra since we sprung for the Q+A. Spoiler: people ask really self-centered meandering questions even when told not to.
I got jokingly yelled at by Will Arnett. So, that was fun!
Saturday:
Walking tour of Boston with a friend of my wife's and his wife. We got to see the Gardens, Cheers (had a beer and got a mug), the Paul Revere church, a great Italian restaurant for lunch, and got a really good sense of the city.
Went to see a good comedian that night at Laugh Boston named Jesus Trejo. Half of his act was just riffing with the audience and turning heckles into jokes. I love it when comedians can improv that quickly.
Sunday:
Drive home and rest!
