it involves getting food for the event donated plus raffle items donated ... so at the planning meeting tomorrow - my big idea is to ask for the food donations from Restaurants, Deli's, Bakeries, Stores, etc. first - and if they say no to that - then ask for a gift certificate for a raffle bundle instead from them. Is it bad to try to kill 2 birds with one solicitation ( so to speak ) ?
