fwiw, as bad as things are here, i know some local fundraising efforts have been quite successful. those who have are nicely stepping-up.
i hope you find that to be the case there, too; and good on ya for getting involved! (i'll get back to it myself some day - for now, i whip out my cc with zest. ;) -)
