anyone ever use a computer mouse that stands up?

for the next 2-3 days, i'll be at a different location, sitting at a traveler's desk. there is what is supposed to be a wrist-friendly mouse; but using it for just a little while this afternoon did not please my metal-containing wrist.

got tips?

the keyboard is also a funky thing. hopefully, won't need to type a lot. ay.
