I wanted to like it so much more than I did. I felt like it was only 10% parody, when it should have been 50/50 parody/drama.
Kristen Bell is such a funny actress, but she and the script played it too seriously. There were some LOL moments like the Take Your Daughter To Work Day murder explanation, but it just wasn't campy enough for me overall.
