She’s buried the knife, into the cliff, to stop from falling…literally hanging from the knife, and there’s zero effort or intensity or desperation there. Doesn’t sell it, at all

It’s basically a “not again” vibe—Meryl Streep in Postcards From The Edge

You’re hanging from a knife, over a huge cliff!!! Even a Vulcan would have more emotion showing than she shows there.
