Philip K Dick had lived a few more years, seen Brazil and been inspired to write a new and fresh script, then it sat for ~30 years then the Coens discovered it, dusted it off then ...

this is probly unfair to Ben Stiller whose direction is just fine, or writer Dan Erickson whoever the hell he is.
