Speaking of tickets, I got one Monday that I couldn't believe. I was parked in an enclosed lot for a grocery store (inside, off the street) and got a

ticket for not having a current city sticker displayed (the new ones became effective on July 1). I couldn't believe it. First, they have always given a 30 day grace period on that in the past, but second, the police car had to come off the street, up to the second floor indoor garage to give out the tickets. That's insane. Tickets have become the thing that the city is using to generate revenue these days. It's incredibly annoying.
