Yeah? At what point has China given the indication they're looking to expand? Russia is at best now, the 3rd leg in the international stool

China is rapidly closing the gap toward #1. They are winning without having to do anything.
The US is happily tearing itself apart given the political divides...until that shifts around, pushing the issue for China makes no sense. In their minds, they speak processes for decades if not centuries. There's no reason for them to rush that if the timing isn't right.
