You're just making stuff up to fit your run time narrative. -- (edited)

Variety said 100+ million
Deadline said $110 million
Warner Bros said $90 million

No industry websites were saying $150 million. I only know of one fansite tracking service that went that high.

This is akin to the Spider-Man: Homecoming reboot which made $117 million opening weekend. Just like Spider-Man had to overcome a mediocre Andrew Garfield series and a quick reboot. So, too did The Batman have to overcome The Snyderverse, Batman vs. Superman and Justice League's bad taste in the mouths of audience members.

This is probably more like when Batman Begins opened after the disastrous Batman and Robin. This first movie will do well, and will set the series up for the big Joker vs. Batman fight. The follow-up Batman films will open much larger, just like the Spider-Man sequels did. It has nothing to do with run time.
