The FSB is being blamed for the failed attack (if true, the FSB is not who you want to be fucking with, if you’re Putin).
The Russian attack was seen as a “blitzkreig” but they didn’t have the same strategy as the Nazis.
The Chechans aren’t happy. The Ukrainian allegations that the FSB leaked the attack to them is pissing off the Russians, even if it’s not true. But the fact that the Ukrainians were able to wipe out that Chechan frontal attack at the airport (and kill their homophobic general) basically crushed the Russian offensive.
