And pippy, I saw your post about it being cool :) Normally I wouldn't have to go that far, because our nearest grocery store is walking distance.

But today's dinner order called for Chinese food, and the grocery store that sells surprisingly good fresh Chinese food is about 3.5km (two and a quarter miles) away.
Most of the ride is on a trail, but there's an unfortunate bit that requires mixing with traffic. The ride home is much easier than the ride there, as a result.
The good news is, if an accident happens in that area, the general hospital is literally right there. Best ER in town.
