I don't know how well it's known, outside of IT or ST circles but the Ukrainians have a robust business IT sector

I know one CTO from there who I am sure is moonlighting to eff up some Russian equipment. The dude is wicked smart. I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of IT with him.
I was working with him in 2014, his IT shop was in the Ukraine and we were under a deadline. This was at the time that the Russians decided that Crimea was no longer a part of Ukraine. I thought nothing of it one night as I was watching the news, then broke into a cold sweat. In talking with him our next morning he laid out a detailed plan on how we were going to get it all done...it basically involved getting all his folks out of there and into Germany with apparently office space already obtained. It never came to be necessary but the guy was the picture of calm and commanding. And like I said, that was just him being CTO. But you always felt like he knew things down to the weed level. He clearly was a programmer/developer.
To this day, because of that experience, if I have to do a MS Project Timeline I still sneak in a line item/error bar about "Godzilla Attack" just to see who's reading it all...
