Yeah, and those are probably more screen count crunches than direct competition.

On the opposite end, The Phantom Menace got some additional legs out of guaranteed screens for 6 weeks when it came out.
I agree that competition doesn't hurt films, but I do think an extended run in the best theaters (especially IMAX) can somewhat extend legs.
