I think people like being alone in their car which is nicer than sitting or standing on public transit. I get it but it's not good for so many reasons

I don't think the masks are a big factor for people here. I think they like using their own car and got used to it during the last two years.
I'm hoping high gas prices will get them to reconsider that and go back to using public transit like they were before.
