Yeah, it's "horrible person" vs "integrity of the game."

The NFL has decided that the latter is more important.

Now, I would be all for domestic violence punishments being harsher. Maybe if there was more video evidence more players would be untouchable like Ray Rice. I'm now confident that his punishment wasn't about the crime, it was about optics.

Of course, in a better world there would be tougher criminal penalties and more convictions, so the 4 games would be in addition to time missed due to serving time.
