One of my clients is a good sized Dr's group. Most of the Dr's have individual brokerage accounts with personal advisors and don't invest in the standard retirement mutual funds.

One Doc had $4.02M in their account as of 9/30
That account today is valued at $2.1M...

        That’s just for the regular backdoor for IRAs. The mega backdoor option is for qualified retirement plans and would be in addition to your regular plan contribution limits regardless of income. -- nm* - znufrii Mar 10, 09:58
