I’m going mega backdoor again once my raise hits next month, probably, and am thinking of pulling forward my annual Roth IRA contributions

Your plan would have to allow for after-tax contributions, and then you’d need a way to convert those to Roth, which could be tricky, depending. -- (edited)

That’s just for the regular backdoor for IRAs. The mega backdoor option is for qualified retirement plans and would be in addition to your regular plan contribution limits regardless of income. -- nm*
