I've had it take forever to load and crash lots too.

I basically use it to watch the Daily Show and Colbert which used to not work in FF for now. Now they usually do though.

The address bar has a tringle at the right that becomes an X while loading. Hit that and it stops loading. - TWuG Jul 8, 14:44
