It was a rough day at Jettie's Cafe. (cat furniture story)

A few weeks ago, I got a Facebook ad that was actually useful for once. It was a cardboard construct of a two-story cat cafe. I figured it was worth $30.

The thing arrived about two weeks ago, and the instant Kim put it together, Jettie claimed it as her own. So, we've called it Jettie's Cafe ever since then.

Really, all four cats have adored it, though. The place rarely goes unoccupied for more than an hour. One of them will notice it, remember they love it, and either play in it or take a nap.

Well, today, I don't quite know what happened, but it lost its structural integrity. The cat cafe went from perfectly fine to Aztec ruins in a matter of five minutes.

We suspect Jettie burned it down the insurance money. It's either that or she really pissed off Tony Soprano.

Whatever the explanation, I contacted live chat at Chewy. Within ten minutes, we went from having Jettie's Cafe to the shattered remnants of Jettie's Cafe to a replacement cafe on the way. It'll be here by Saturday.

I say all this to confirm to my fellow animal lovers that Chewy is really damned impressive. That's as good as customer service gets.

We're going to work to stabilize Jettie's Cafe 2 to help it survive longer than Jettie's Cafe 1.
