Browns did it so they could say they investigated and no charges/no worries.
Fans see that and then they go fan mode—Then anti-cancel culture crowd jumps in. Then the innocent until proven guilty crowd, etc…and you have a push back wave that blurs the line enough for people to stop caring.
What Trotter needed to ask, at the end, is were the investigators investigating the events…or were ithey investigating the women/
(Victim blaming).
