I now have a flight out of Newark at *5am* to Chicago for my connection there.

I WILL enjoy trip when it's time, but I'm kinda perturbed by the change right now
There are no non-stops from NYC, this was the only one. And flights on all airlines are of course all very expensive since we're close to the flight so no use in looking at other airlines.
The auto-rebook had me connecting in Denver to a less desirable plane/arrival timing so I was at least able to change for free to the Chicago flight but ugh. Who pulls a flight 5 weeks prior?!
