I realized a possibly positive wrinkle in my plan (for me, not my son). I believe I want to wait to install the Level 2 charger along with our solar

with that being the case, it will probably at least be June/July before I can purchase the EV. If that means I could order an EV6 Light ($40k-ish) then that might be the best case all around. Still have to wait until May to explore this option but that is now where I'm leaning.
