It's not even a story except that it's a Tesla and omitting the "driver" from the headline was a choice.

Above-average vehicle weight and speed characteristics also play into it, but really, it's only called out for novelty.

IOW, the headline was written to give the impression the car, not the driver, was at fault. An impression that is often used in Tesla news stories. -- nm
