Diva etc. will know better. There's huge costs to get shows up/running. Add those to weekly costs & there's a lot of money to make up.

Shows have to have huge sales in order to recoup quickly. See the example for Hamilton and Book of Mormon in the article. Anastasia was never the "hit" that those shows were, so it took more time.
