Yep. Meanwhile the mechanic suggested $3K in repairs for my 2005 mazda3 and I'm wishing I could just wave a wand and go electric

What I'd like is to replace it with an ebike BUT the main place I want to go with it is too far away & the ride is too unsafe. So a small EV would be more practical, but a ton of money compared to just doing the repairs on the gas car. Blech.
