My polling place has only 2 voting machines - 1 of them a Diebold that wasn't working when I got there this afternoon.

They had to take it offline when it was discovered that when anyone chose the straight ticket option the votes weren't registering. I overheard the guy behind the sign in desk tell this to someone. The way he put it the "vendor" didn't program them right and no one at the "office" caught it. Machines were down "all over". I'm guessing the problem is local and minimal since KY has already been called for McCain. I'm holding out hope, though, that McConnell will lose.
