In all the years I have voted, I cannot remember any time I've had to vote for more than four or five races where party affiliation was a factor

I think there was a year when I lived in Santa Cruz where we had to vote for President, US Senator, US Congressman, State Senator and State Assemblyman, but I may be wrong on that.
I can't imagine it taking that much longer to flip five tiny switches instead of one, but hey, if you say it is, then you must be right
